New Website | Average Hiker
I’ve recently redesigned my website and switched to a self-hosted site. It has been a lot of work, and I feel as if I returned to college for an IT degree. The second degree was almost as much fun as the first one!
Anyway, this post is a test post from my mobile phone. I’m still at averagehiker.com, but I’m now prettier, stronger, and faster. Ha!
Below are a few recent pictures, so I can see how they turn out.
I love the barrier islands in the southeast, and winter is one of my favorite times to visit. It is all MINE this time of year – a little lone tourist.
Who knew that rosemary grew wild amongst the barrier islands. Is smells wonderful! I’ve a feeling it might be invasive. I know it has invaded my entire CT yard!
Radiated Sweet Potato
I was given this microwaveable sweet potato recently. Call me a little paranoid, but I just could not microwave my food wrapped in plastic.
I recently read I should not drink water from a plastic bottle left in my car, especially if allowed to heat up. I can only imagine the chemical released into my radiated potato!
Alright, test complete.
Check out my new site at averagehiker.com. I’ve now got a LOT of content to create, but that will be the fun part!
