First Day in Denver | Colorado Trail – Average Hiker

Colorado Trail – August 3rd, 2019

Pre-Trip

Thunderstorms, here we come!  Jordan and I are starting the Colorado Trail this coming up Monday.  I’ll continue to update my journal entries from other trails, ie., the CDT, etc., when we I get back home.  Jordan is much younger and faster.  He also has a bachelor’s party in Breckenridge on Labor Day weekend because HE IS GETTING MARRIED in October.  I expect to see him the first day and then nothing but his dust after that – HYOH. 🙂

Blog Format

I’ll continue to Blog while I hike, but it will be more of a Trip Report type format, and as many pictures as I can upload.  I know everyone would much rather see lot’s of pictures than read me rattling on anyway.  I’m looking forward to getting back out to the mountains.
