The Zoar Trail has great water view and features, along with nice glacial features.
The Highlight of the Testone Boulder Loop Trail is the very large glacial boulder found about halfway through the loop.
Fyler Pond is a short hike, but interesting with it’s pond, old agricultural equipment, and tree growth.
The Ives Trail in Connecticut, with it’s history and varied terrain, make this a fun and challenging trail.
The Housatonic Ridge Trail was a nice hike. I will have to return with my GPS.
The Appalachian Trail in New York state, from Route 55 to I-84, offers moderate terrain. It is classic NY, with lots of rocks, and small, steep rocky ups and downs.
